The Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria (HBSAN) has appointed Collins Onuegbu as its dynamic new chairman, leading a seasoned board of Harvard Business School alumni. The announcement was made at the association’s recent annual general meeting, with Adedotun Sulaiman, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, presiding over the ratification.
Collins, previously the vice president to his predecessor, Simi Nwogugu, brings a wealth of experience from his various roles on the association’s board. Joining him on the board are accomplished graduates and alumni, including Florence Okoli, GMD Eraskorp Nigeria Limited; Henrietta Ugboh, MD of Norwiche Limited; Mayowa Afe, MD of Danvic Petroleum International, among others.
In his acceptance speech, Collins Onuegbu expressed gratitude for the honor and acknowledged the challenge of leading such an esteemed association. He outlined the board’s commitment to creating a platform for sharing experiences and fostering collaboration among members, aiming to build an association that resonates with success.
Established in 1983 by a group of distinguished Nigerians who received management education at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, HBSAN has been a driving force in leadership development and management transformation in Nigeria. The association’s mission extends beyond member-centric goals, aiming to catalyze socio-economic advancements in Nigeria through transformative leadership.
As Collins Onuegbu assumes the role of chairman, the Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria looks forward to a successful tenure, dedicated to serving its members and contributing to Nigeria’s progress on the global stage.
